Selsey Festival 2015
Selsey Festival takes place this August and features a huge variety of events. Shows, talks, exhibitions, fetes, pop-up cinema, fairs and sport ending with the Bank Holiday weekend Selsey Carnival.
This year there is a special East Beach Weekend on East Beach Green, Selsey from Fri 21 - Sun 23 Aug. Relax at the open air cinema, Screen on the Green, on Friday 21 Aug and celebrate 40 years since Jaws first appeared in cinemas, then sit back and be entertained by Grease on Saturday. Join us on Saturday daytime to find out more about working locally in a fun day of exhibitions, music and activities by Rolls Royce, West Sussex Growers and many other local employers.
Visit the Sea & Salad Fair on Sunday 23rd Aug between 10.00am - 4.00pm to find out more about the wonderful maritime nature of the place in which we live. Try snorkelling and paddleboarding; follow the Pirate Trail round East Beach Pond; learn how underwater archaeologists do their job, see the Historical Diving Society; get involved in a mini beach clean with the Marine Conservation Society and see the new Mary Rose Trust pop-up museum.
