The RSPB would love you to visit Pagham Harbour and enjoy the springtime in this little coastal corner that has big skies, expansive marshes and lots of opportunities to see the birds and animals who love living and visiting Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve too. The RSPB has a few thoughts on what the reserve has to offer in spring:

Top things to do in Spring

  1. Revel in the wealth of waterbirds using the harbour, fuelling up before they depart for their summer breeding grounds
  2. As the hedgerows burst into blossom, keep an eye out for spring butterflies warming themselves in the sun
  3. Watch the creeks and sluices for the tell tale ripples as grey mullets swim into the harbour to feed at low tide
