A new survey on threats from coastal landfill sites has been produced by Coastal Partners in association with the LGA Coastal Special Interest Group and the Coastal Group Network. The survey reveals that hundreds of historic coastal landfill sites across the country are at risk of polluting Britain\u2019s beaches and waterways, and shows that 26 coastal councils have sites already spilling large amounts of waste onto cliffs and beaches.<\/p>\n
