Surfers Against Sewage has launched its latest campaign against marine plastic called 'Wasteland' and has created a 30-ft warship made out of ocean plastic from around the UK's coastline to illustrate its point. It is made out of five tonnes of plastic waste collected from around the UK.<\/p>\n

Wasteland is not only the name of the plastic ship, it is also the name given to a growing raft of plastic waste floating in the central Pacific Ocean made from plastic discarded by people both on boats and onshore.<\/p>\n
