The Environment Agency has published a new document entitled 'Coastal flood forecasting: a good practice framework '. The report sets out a good practice framework for the development of future coastal flood forecasting systems. It examines the components that typically make up a coastal flood forecasting system, such as national forecasts and sea-level translation, and shows how to evaluate the quality of these components to help modellers make better decisions to improve the quality of flood forecasting.<\/p>\n
The good practice framework also provides an approach and tool for the appraisal of the quality of existing and new coastal flood forecasting systems<\/p>\n
