The British Hospitality Association (BHA)\u00a0has asked the government to deliver a comprehensive strategy\u00a0to attract the investment which\u00a0our coastal communities need to\u00a0reach their full economic and social\u00a0potential.<\/p>\n
The BHA calls for a Seaside Tsar\u00a0to be appointed to help Britain\u2019s forgotten seaside towns fight back from decades of decay according to new research which paints a grim picture of the problems facing many coastal communities.<\/p>\n
The situation is not irreversible however.\u00a0By\u00a0harnessing the potential of our coastal\u00a0communities and creating coastal powerhouses, it is possible to make\u00a0our seaside towns destinations of\u00a0choice for tourists and residents.<\/p>\n
