{"id":3026,"date":"2014-02-04T16:38:31","date_gmt":"2014-02-04T16:38:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/?p=3026"},"modified":"2014-02-11T20:29:11","modified_gmt":"2014-02-11T20:29:11","slug":"operation-watershed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/operation-watershed\/","title":{"rendered":"Operation Watershed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Operation Watershed was set up by West Sussex County Council\u00a0primarily to repair damage to highway and drainage infrastructure caused by extreme weather.\u00a0In addition it has also supported communities by\u00a0enabling them to take responsibility for local flooding and land drainage \u00a0issues. It has done this through the allocation of funds, in return for a longer term commitment from community groups to help prevent flood problems in the future.\u00a0In a number of cases Active Community projects have encouraged local groups to come together, and make that commitment.
