Sun 20 Oct - High Tide Roosts North Common & Gutner Point<\/strong>
\n10am \/ 3 hours
\nA stroll along North Common to look for migrant birds and an opportunity to transfer to Hampshire County Council\u2019s restricted access nature reserve at Gutner Point to view the high tide roost. Refreshments available at Northney Farm Cafe afterwards. Bring binoculars. No dogs please. With Pete Potts, Senior Hampshire Ranger.

Sat 26 Oct - Little Cockles: The Fish Goes Splash<\/strong>
\n10am \/ 1.5 hours
\nThe fish goes splash is a fun and interactive dance, song and play session based on the wonders of the sea for families with children up to 5 years old. The workshop will develop your child\u2019s co-ordination andimagination whilst learning with you about the sights and sounds of our beautiful harbour. Workshop run by Jo Cone from Peek a Boo Moves. Bring a snack.

Sun 27 Oct - Innovative Water Colours of the Harbour<\/strong>
\n10am \/ 5 hours
\nFollowing a short walk along the shoreline to make a series of sketches, our artwork will be developed with different innovative techniques including collage, watercolour, gouache, pastels, etc. Basic materials provided or bring your own. Bring lunch and outdoor clothes. Led by Sue Ogilvy, artist and Conservancy teacher.

Mon 28 Oct - Willow Fish<\/strong>
\n10am \/ 3 hours
\nUnder the guidance of professional sculptors Elaine and Ganesh Kings (Ganesh is also a keen fisherman) create a harbour fish in willow. All materials supplied.

Tue 29 Oct - Songs of the Sea<\/strong>

\nA fun and informal evening of music and stories about the lives of the sailors on the ocean going sailing boats of years gone by, in the company of the Harbour Buoys John, Gary, Alun and Adam. Musical ability not essential but do come along prepared to take part.

Thur 31 Oct - Lifeboat Station<\/strong>
\n2pm \/ 2 hours
\nHave a look round the lifeboat station and see the two boats the \u2018Derrick Battle\u2019 and \u2018The Amanda, James and Ben\u2019 and the tractors \u2018Betty\u2019 and \u2018Gwendoline\u2019, then meet one of the crew who will demonstrate the gear they have to wear on a \u2018shout\u2019. Bring a small bucket for a beach treasure hunt afterwards. Bring a picnic tea.
