The Environment Agency\u2019s time lapse cameras showing recent progress at Medmerry are now up and running. You can view the time lapse cameras on the Environment Agency\u2019s website by following this link to their webpage:<\/p>\n

Construction work is continuing to lower the beach to allow seawater into the site. Recently a little seawater was allowed to enter the site through the existing sea outfall pipes. A number of large construction vehicles will be in operation throughout September, as major new channels are being created within the site. This will in effect become the intertidal area with dangers from deep water and tidal flows.<\/p>\n

Please remember that during this time, Medmerry remains a closed construction site and site access must be authorised. <\/strong>The beach will be fully closed until mid to end of September. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
