Defra Science has just\u00a0issued the Autumn 2010 edition of\u00a0 'Elements',\u00a0its online science magazine.\u00a0\u00a0This edition is looking at\u00a0the effect\u00a0climate change may\u00a0have food production, and how\u00a0we can ensure a sustainable food supply in the face of potential change.<\/p>\n
Professor Bob Watson, Defra's\u00a0Chief Scientific Adviser has the following to say: A changing climate is likely to make these important resources even more fragile, so it\u2019s important that we consider how we ensure a secure and environmentally sustainable food supply as we adapt to climate change.<\/p>\n
