{"id":96,"date":"2009-10-22T12:39:01","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T11:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/?p=96"},"modified":"2024-05-22T11:23:25","modified_gmt":"2024-05-22T11:23:25","slug":"our-aims","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/who-are-we\/our-aims\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Aims and Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The aims of the MPP are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to ensure the sustainable development of the peninsula for the benefit of future generations and to consider long-term issues, including climate change.<\/li>\n<li>to improve and promote inter-sectoral integration, co-ordination, communication and understanding between those involved in the Manhood Peninsula.<\/li>\n<li>to provide opportunities for wider community participation and interaction.<\/li>\n<li>to adopt a proactive approach to addressing the effects of climate change.<\/li>\n<li>the development and implementation, or assistance with the implementation, of guidelines, strategies and action plans.<\/li>\n<li>the exploration and research of different options and the need to learn from other areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following organisations are members of the MPP:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chichester District Council (including MPP Secretariat)<\/li>\n<li>Chichester Harbour Conservancy<\/li>\n<li>Environment Agency<\/li>\n<li>Manhood Wildlife &amp;
