{"id":3554,"date":"2015-11-25T11:21:02","date_gmt":"2015-11-25T11:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/?p=3554"},"modified":"2016-01-19T11:45:41","modified_gmt":"2016-01-19T11:45:41","slug":"pcet-economic-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/projects\/coastal-community-team\/pcet-economic-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Coastal Economic Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Peninsula Coastal Economy Team (PCET), one of\u00a0116 new national\u00a0Coastal Community Teams,\u00a0has produced an <a title=\"Econ plan\" href=\"https:\/\/peninsulapartnership.org.uk\/abd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PCET_Econ-Plan_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Economic Plan <\/a>looking at projects that will benefit the economy of the Manhood Peninsula, and encourage the sustainable economic development of the peninsula.<\/p>\n<p>The Manhood Peninsula is a great place for business and supports a wide range of thriving businesses, most importantly: tourism; leisure; agriculture and horticulture; and manufacturing. The marine environment fosters diverse economic activities including commercial fishing, angling and water sports. Renewable energy generation is increasingly regarded as having economic potential on the peninsula.
