Project bids are invited up to a maximum of \u00a33,000 per bid. Grants will forward fund projects, and can be used as match funding to attract grants from other sources.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The fund aims to find applications for one-off projects that support local schemes and initiatives. Suitable themes for projects include adding value to drainage and flood relief work that WSCC or other parties might carry out such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>improved access to the peninsula environment by creating or enhancing routes and paths.<\/li>\n<li>environmental enhancements such as tree planting, hedge planting, pond refurbishment and projects to\u00a0benefit wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>green transport initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0Applications for funding will be accepted from Tues 9th July 2013 and will continue to be accepted until the fund is fully depleted.
