There is a great deal going on in Chichester Harbour this month, and Ed Rowsell, Chichester Harbour Conservancy's Conservation Officer, has a lot to talk about. Many birds now have young in tow and you can find Mute Swan cygnets, Mallard ducklings and Moorhen chicks  in different areas round the harbour. Young mammals are beginning to make an appearance, although the cold spring has led to a slow start for many plant species.

Find out what's happening month by month in the Monthly Nature Notes section of the Conservancy's website.
