12 noon / 2 hours
A short stroll along the harbour shoreline at Fishbourne, taking time to look for and identify the harbour birds. Dress warmly and bring binoculars. No dogs please.
Fee: £3 on the day.
Meet: Fishbourne Parish Church, off A259, free parking.

A gentle trip by solar powered boat to enjoy the harbour and look out for and identify the birds found in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dress warmly, bring binoculars.

Tue 19 Feb Bird and Bat Boxes
10:30am / 1.5 hours
As Spring approaches we will be thinking of the birds beginning to nest in the gardens and the bats emerging from their winter hibernation roosts. With the guidance of our Rangers, make a bat or bird box (or both) to put up in your garden (it is possible to make two per person or family in the time). Bring a hammer and a workmate if you have them, if not use ours. All attendees must hear the safety briefing at the start.

Wed 20 Feb  Solar Heritage boat trip: Harbour Nature
2pm / 1.5 hours
Departure from Itchenor for a 1½ hour boat trip. Onboard there will be a special commentary about local wildlife in Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Thur 21 Feb Earth, Air and Water: Flotsam and Jetsam

Create a work of art back in the classroom following a shoreline stroll looking for treasures washed up on the strandline. With Conservancy art teacher Jane Latawski. Fri 22 Feb Harbour Babies
10am / 2 hours
Today we will be finding out about the harbour babies including the birds and the trees. Bring a snack and outdoor clothes though most of the session will be indoors.
